We were in trouble. Our roof was leaking and I had no idea where the water was getting in. I had sealed my skylights and didn't think they were the problem as I had double-sealed them. Dan happened to be roofing my neighbor's house so I asked him if he could take a look at mine. His crew was working away so he was able to check my roof out. He showed me exactly what was going on and the damage that was be done (hidden from the untrained eye). Well, he agreed to roof my house when he finished up next door. He gave me a geat price especially considering he had to replace two cheap skylights with high quality skylights but at a very fair price. He actually had to tear up the plyboard and showed me that it was so water-logged, he could actually tear it apart with his hands. My whole roof would have been ruined if I let it go one more winter. They did the job in just a couple of days. One thing about Dan, he's a perfectionest but he's so skilled that he can still work fast. Since the roof, I've had him build me an outside shed. I plan to use it to keep my precious outdoor cats safe and sheltered. My neighbor says it's the most beautiful "cathouse"he's ever seen. It is. It has tonque and grove flooring on half the floor and the rest is brand new carpeting. He built carpeting shelves around the windows, all insulated in case I want to put electricity and heat in later on. Dan is the only contractor I will ever use in the future. He has a great personality, is someone you can trust - no surprises, no hype. Dan is not only my contractor, he's now a good friend.
